About Megan

 

Megan grew up in Michigan and attended Alma College. She now lives in Illinois with her husband Alejandro and their three daughters Gabriela, Camila and Mariana.  Goodnight, Little Orcas was inspired by her daughter's love of stuffed animals and books.  Megan wanted Gabriela to have a fun book featuring orcas to go along with her favorite stuffed orca.

Megan is currently a stay at home mom, but looks forward to going back to teaching 1st grade in a few more years. Her hope is that Goodnight, Little Orcas will spark children's interest in ocean animals and marine life.
